Proposed Motion
That Council appoint inspectors for the year 2024 pursuant to Section 7(1) of the Weed Control Act and Section 10(1) of the Agricultural Pests Act.

Administration supports the appointment of the people listed in the attachment as inspectors for 2024.
Purpose
These appointments allow the inspectors to enter private property, in the discharge of their duties, without the landowners consent.
Summary
These appointments are required on a yearly basis and will expire at the end of the employment contract. Precautions will be taken by all staff when entering private property to ensure that all equipment, etc. will be clean before entering or leaving a field.
