Proposed Motion

That the 2018 Enhanced Road Maintenance Services report be received for information and included in the 2018 Spring Budget Adjustment process, for Council's consideration.

Administration supports the proposed recommendation.

 

Purpose

On November 08, 2018 during the 2018 Parkland County budget process, Council requested that administration review and present recommendation that will increase the road maintenance service levels.

 

Summary

In 2017, Parkland County roads were in poor condition as a result of abnormal weather experienced in late 2016 and early 2017.  To alleviate further damage and to recondition Parkland County roads, a review of the program services and costing has been prepared for presentation to Council.
