Proposed Motion
1. That Council approve the Clymont Community League Sustainability Grant - Major Capital request in the amount of $62,313 to be included in the 2025 budget, as presented.
2. That Council approve the Magnolia Community Club Sustainability Grant - Major Capital request in the amount of $29,750 to be included in the 2025 budget, as presented.

Administration supports the Community League requests. The projects meet the requirements of the grant and will improve the amenities that are used by the community at large.
Purpose
As per Policy C-RP03, requests submitted under the Sustainability Grant - Major Capital are to be approved by Council.
Summary
Major Capital Grants are used by community leagues to completed major projects that improve amenities and recreational opportunities for community. Parkland County has received 2 application for considerations to be included in the 2025 budget process.
Magnolia Community Club has been working over the past few years completing significant upgrades to their building. This last phase will replace the flooring in the entire facility and install a fire alarm system to meet current code requirements.The total estimated cost of the overall project is $72,050. They are seeking support from Parkland County for $29,750 with the remainder funded by the leagues savings, additional grants and volunteer time.
Clymont Community League is seeking to upgrade the HVAC in their facility. The total estimated cost of the overall project is $249,347. They are seeking support from Parkland County for $62,313 with the remainder funded by the leagues savings, additional grants and volunteer time.
