Administration Recommendation
Administration supports rescinding Policies C-RP011 Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area, and C-RP012 Meridian Sports Park.
Purpose
To ensure Parkland County's policies are current and in alignment with policy.
Summary
With the approval of Bylaw 2023-16 Parks Bylaw, administration completed a review of our policies to ensure alignment.
The following policies were identified as being redundant and the intent captured within the Parks Bylaw. The operational components of these documents will be incorporated into department procedures.
Policy C-RP011 is specific to the operation of the Chickakoo Lake Day Use Park.
Policy C-RP012 is specific to the operations of Meridian Sports Park
With the adoption of Bylaw 2023-16 Parks Bylaw, Policies C-RP011, C-RP012 can be rescinded.

October 24, 2023 - Bylaw 2023-16 Parks Bylaw received third and final reading.
