Body

Administration Recommendation(s)

Administration supports the amendments to Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) Bylaw 2015-15.

Purpose

To amend SDAB Bylaw 2015-15.

Summary

The SDAB reviewed Bylaw 2015-15 and identified concerns and improvements regarding their ability to reach quorum for hearings, the number of public member appointments being less than bylaw requirements, and current practices around retaining audio recordings of hearings. The SDAB is proposing amendments to Bylaw 2015-15 that enhance their operation and ensure effective and timely hearings for property owners and residents of Parkland County.

Strategic Plan/Policy/Legal/Staff Implications (As Required)
