Administration Recommendation(s)
On May 7, 2013 Governance and Priorities Committee directed Administration to present Animal Control Bylaw 2013-16 to Council for three readings. Upon this bylaw being passed, Animal Control Bylaws 28-2009 and 27-2012 will be rescinded.
Purpose
Animal Control Bylaw 2013-16 provides regulation and control of household pets, animals and birds.
Summary
Animal Control Bylaw 2013-16 was presented to Governance and Priorities Committee as Animal Control Bylaw 02-2012 on May 7, 2013. The only change made to this bylaw as presented to Governance and Priorities Committee was changing the number to 2013-16.
