Purpose
To authorize a grant to the Stony Plain and District Crime Watch.
 
Summary
The Stony Plain and District Crime Watch will be hosting the 2014 Provincial Crime Watch AGM and are requesting funding from Parkland County to assist them in hosting this event.  The Town and Stony Plain and City of Spruce Grove have also been asked to consider contributing the same grant amount to host this event.  The Stony Plain and District Crime Watch will submit an expense statement upon completion of the AGM and will return any surplus grant funds to the contributing municipalities on an equal/proportionate basis.

Grant approval is supported by Council's Strategic Goals to provide a choice of lifestyle in a harmonious and safe environment, and the long-term best interests of the community as a whole.
