The Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee (EDTAC) supports the recommendation to revise the Terms of Reference as presented.
Summary
It is recommended that the Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee membership be expanded to include a senior management representative from TransAlta Utilities Corporation. It is believed that the County's largest business / ratepayer should be involved in EDTAC to allow for better communication between our groups, and also to utilize the expertise of TransAlta in helping to continue to develop and improve Parkland County. The attached revised Terms of Reference have been highlighted to indicate the changes to be considered.
Financial Impact
Honorarium / per diems / conf. expenses up to $1,500 per year.
