That Council appoint Braden Lanctot to the 2026 Assessment Review Board.
Purpose
To appoint one additional certified panelist to Parkland County's 2026 Assessment Review Board.
Summary
Parkland County has an agreement with the Capital Region Assessment Services Commission (CRASC) to provide specific administrative services relating to Assessment Appeal Boards. In compliance with Bylaw 2015-28, the agreement stipulates that CRASC will provide to the County a qualified Assessment Review Board Clerk, Assessment Review Board Chairperson, and a list of qualified panelists for Council approval, from which CRASC may appoint members to the required Assessment Review Board. The members and clerk are certified to perform their roles.
Background
On Februrary 24, 2026 Council made the following appointments to the 2026 Assessment Review Board.
1. Gerryl Amorin, as Certified Assessment Review Board Clerk,
2. Raymond Ralph as Chair of the Assessment Review Board, and
3. Darlene Chartrand, Sheryl Exley, Tina Groszko, Richard Knowles, Marcel LeBlanc, and Roland Merkosky as certified panelists.
