3. That Bylaw 2026-18 be presented at this meeting for third reading.

Body

Administration Recommendation

Administration supports the proposed motions.

Purpose

The Land Use Bylaw amendment proposes to redistrict a parcel of land from CR-Country Residential District to C-Commercial District.

Summary

The amendments proposed under Bylaw 2026-18 would allow for the development of future commercial land uses, which align to the affiliated Intermunicipal Development Plan.

The redistricting application is intended to provide an opportunity for a combination of commercial uses that generally service surrounding communities and the traveling public. A list of prohibited uses has been included in the Intermunicipal Development Plan, which limits the type of commercial uses allowed on the parcel.
