Administration supports the proposed motion.
 
Purpose
To highlight the importance of individual and municipal emergency preparedness to Parkland County residents.  Brochures and information available to the public give tips on what to do in different types of emergencies as well as how to prepare residents and their families before an emergency happens.
 
Summary
Parkland County will hsot 3 open houses at fire halls in Parkland County, including: Tomahawk, Wabamum and Parkland Village.  Dates and times are still being finalized and will be advertised in the local news papers and Parkland County website.  
 
In addition information will be avaialable as follows;
      - Slide on the TV at the front entrance and in the foyer.
      - Parkland County Website information with a link to Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) website
      - Advertisement in the Stony Plain Reporter
