Purpose
To update Council on the results of Parkland County's review of its public engagement program and to share key findings and recommendations arising from the review.
Summary
Parkland County remains committed to maintaining the public’s trust through transparent and fair decision-making, superior service delivery, and effective engagement.
In October 2025, Parkland County engaged Catalyst Communications Inc. to develop an updated public engagement program that includes the creation of a revised public engagement policy, and associated administrative directive and procedures. Three core phases have been completed to this point: Research & Discovery, Internal/External Engagement, and Analysis & Reporting.
This report presents key findings from the phases completed and the next steps.
