1. That the Committee receive the Agricultural Service Board update for information, as presented.
2. That the Committee direct administration to bring the updated terms of reference for the Agricultural Service Board to the June 11, 2024 Council meeting for approval, as presented.

Purpose
To provide an update on the progress made by the Agricultural Service Board towards its 2024 workplan, as well as to receive feedback on the proposed changes to the Board's Terms of Reference.
Summary
The Agricultural Service Board provides advice and recommendations to Council on matters of importance to agricultural producers. This update provides an overview to Council of the Agricultural Service Board's work during the year thus far and provides Council the opportunity to direct the work of the Agricultural Service Board over the rest of the year. A report to Council is also a requirement for receiving funding from the Government of Alberta under the Agricultural Service Board Grant program.The Agricultural Service Board has also reviewed the Board's current Terms of Reference and is recommending updates which can be reviewed in the attached table of recommended changes.
