Summary
The Community Services Department will provide Council with a brief overview of the Hasse Lake Redevelopment Plan Detailed Design Summary so Council has time to assess the project cost breakdown before administration returns for decision.
Historical Information:
In March 2025, Parkland County undertook the Hasse Lake Redevelopment Plan to create a long-term strategy for improving the Hasse Lake Recreational Area, a 75 hectare natural park featuring trails, forested areas, and a lake used primarily for year round recreational fishing. The project responds to deteriorating infrastructure, declining water quality, aging amenities, and increasing expectations for nature based recreation.
