Purpose
Parkland County has boards and committees that allow for public members to be appointed for specific terms. Each year, Legislative and Legal Services reviews boards/committees that have public member terms ending and initiates public recruitment for these vacancies.
Summary
Parkland County campaigned for public committee members May-June, 2024 through newspaper advertisement, the County's website, and social media. On June 14, 2024 the advertisements closed with no new applicants. Julie Burger indicated she would be happy to serve another term on the Agricultural Service Board.
