Purpose
To update Committee of the Whole on the status of the Open Data Portal.

Summary
The Open Data Policy was approved in January 2017. Since that time we have been building a solid foundation, ensuring success for geospatial open data for Parkland County. The GIS team has generated required documentation, created and tested the data approval process, conducted research on open data site functionality at other municipalities, and developed and tested our own open data portal.
