Proposed Motion
That members of Council be authorized to attend Capital Region Board Committees effective October 16, 2012, as follows:
Capital Region Board Advocacy Committee - Council Member Tracey Melnyk, Council Member Darrell Hollands (Alternate)
Capital Region Board Governance Committee - Council Member Jo Szady, Council Member Darrell Hollands (Alternate)
Capital Region Board Housing Committee - Council Member Denise Locher, Council Member Darrell Hollands (Alternate)
Capital Region Board Transit Committee - Council Member Dianne Allen, Council Member Darrell Hollands (Alternate)
Capital Region Board Land Use Committee - Mayor Rod Shaigec and Deputy Mayor Phyllis Kobasiuk (Term of October 16, 2012 - April 30, 2013), and Deputy Mayor Dianne Allen (Term of May 1, 2013 - October 29, 2013)

To authorize members of Council to attend Capital Region Board Committee meetings to increase Parkland County's presence at the Capital Region Board, and enhance our knowledge of their initiatives, discussions, and decisions.
