Summary

Westland Park Community League is an active community league serving the community in and around the Westland Park subdivision. Each year they continue to open their hall to community groups and re-occurring rentals. As the facility ages, components are beginning to reach the end of their lifespan.  The original flat, tar and gravel roof has been patched over the years and continues to leak and damage the interior of the building. They are looking for funding support to install a pitched roof and build a small (720 sq ft) addition. Westland Park Community League has secured $42,000 from AGLC through the casino fund and applied for CFEP funding for the balance of the project.

This application was originally approved by Council on September 12, 2017 (RFD 17-179). The project was delayed and then completed in 2020, and the funds that have been set aside for this can now be distributed.
