Body

Administration Recommendation

Administration supports the proposed motion to table the Parkland Community Policing Advisory Committee matter to the May 9, 2023 Council meeting to allow for Deputy Mayor Wiedeman to be in attendance.

Summary

At the March 28, 2023 Council meeting, Deputy Mayor Wiedeman presented a Notice of Motion that Council discuss the Parkland Community Policing Advisory Committee (CPAC) Terms of Reference.  The Notice of Motion was that the matter be presented at the next meeting of Council scheduled on April 11, 2023.  However, Deputy Mayor Wiedeman is not able to attend in-person at the April 11, 2023 Council meeting.  It would be in order to accommodate the Deputy Mayor's schedule to present the Parkland Community Policing Advisory Committee Terms of Reference at the May 9, 2023 Council meeting.
