Summary

Strategic Plan/Policy/Legal/Staff Implications

In an effort to review and develop a new compensation policy RSH Group Inc. was retained to review the existing policies and provide guidance on the development of a new policy on compensation.  The result of this coordinated effort is Compensation Policy C-HR04.  The new policy establishes Parkland County's commitment to compensating employees fairly and equitably in relation to each other and to the Public Sector market place in which the County competes to attract and retain staff, offering compensation that recognizes the County's responsibility as a public sector employer and is consistent with the County's ability to pay.
