Purpose
The 2022-2025 Strategic Plan is being presented to Council for approval. The 2022-2025 Strategic Plan contains Council's goals and priorities for the organization over the next four years. This plan will be reviewed annually and may be updated to ensure flexibility for changing circumstances.
Summary
The Parkland County 2022-2025 Strategic Plan was developed by Council and senior Administration beginning with a facilitated workshop on March 3 & 4 2022 and followed by multiple draft and review cycles where input was provided by Council and staff and incorporated and refined by the consultant. The draft Plan was presented at the June 7th Governance and Priorities Committee meeting for discussion and feedback and is now finalized and being presented for approval.
Administration has begun the process of developing an updated Corporate Plan that aligns with the goals and priority strategies identified in the Strategic Plan. The Corporate Plan lays out how staff will accomplish these through new or existing projects and programs and will be presented to Council for information later in the year. As with the Strategic Plan, the Corporate Plan is reviewed and updated annually as projects and initiatives are completed or operationalized.
