That Council schedule a Strategic Planning meeting to be held on March 6 and 7, 2024, as presented.

Purpose
Strategic Planning meetings are meetings of Council. In accordance with the Municipal Government Act, Section 193 (3), that states, "If council changes the date, time or place of a regularly scheduled meeting, the municipality must give at least 24 hours' notice of the change (b) to the public".
Summary
At the October 24, 2023 Organizational meeting, Council scheduled regular meetings of Council to be held second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Council's Strategic Planning meeting is not a regular meeting that was scheduled at the Organizational meeting. The Municipal Government Act allows for Council to schedule meetings and provide public notice of meetings being scheduled.
The Strategic Planning Session is a Closed Session of Council and is being held off site, commencing at 9:00 a.m.
