That Council appoint Ray Ralph as Chair of the Assessment Review Board for a term ending December 31, 2018.

Administration recommends the appointment of the Chair as this is a requirement of the Municipal Government Act(MGA).
Purpose
With the recent changes to the MGA, it is required that Council appoint a Chair for the Assessment Review Board.
Summary
Parkland County has an agreement with the Capital Region Assessment Services Commission (CRASC) to provide specific administrative services relating to Assessment Appeal Boards. In compliance with Bylaw 2015-28, the agreement stipulates that CRASC will provide to the County a Chair for the Assessment Review Board. The appointment of the Chair falls under Part 11 of the MGA and Parkland County Bylaw 2015-28.
