Proposed Motion

That Council accept Councillor Kobasiuk's request to register for the Sturgeon County Mayor's Golf Tournament to be held on June19th, 2025, at a cost of $299.00 from Division 3 Community Relations Budget.

Purpose

To obtain approval for Councillor Kobasiuk to use her Community Relations Budget to register for the Sturgeon County Mayor's Golf Tournament.

 

Summary

The Elected Official Remuneration Policy C-AD22 states that Councillors cannot use their Community Relations Budget within 6 months of election unless they obtain resolution from Council.

 

Councillor Kobasiuk is requesting to use her Community Relations Budget to register for the Sturgeon County Mayor's Golf Tournament which will support Little Warriors. Councillor Kobasiuk has attended this tournament every year during this term, and registration opened after the deadline to use this budget.

 

Historical Information:

Members of Council participate annually in local charity golf tournaments to support charitable organizations and network with members of our communities, businesses, and other municipalities.
