Body

Administration Recommendation

Administration supports the proposed motions.

Purpose

Request to amend Section 2(20) of the Use of County Land Bylaw 2023-15.

Summary

Bylaw 2023-15 received third and final reading on November 28, 2023. Prior to Bylaw 2023-15 being presented to Council, it had gone through an extensive review and revision.  Administration identified that, as a result of earlier revisions in the drafting phase of the Bylaw, the numbering sequence had shifted. The shift in the numbering has resulted in Section 2(20) of Bylaw 2023-15 not aligning correctly with the intended sections referenced. To provide clarity and transparency to the public, it would be in order for Bylaw 2024-004 to receive three readings to accurately align all section of Bylaw 2023-15.

Bylaw 2024-004 amends section 2(20) the definition of "Unauthorized Use"  to align with the numbering sequence of the Use of County Land Bylaw 2023-15.
