Summary
Magnolia Community Club is an active community league serving the local community. The hall was built in 1973 and an addition was added in 1985. As a result of the federal governments announcement to ban single use plastics which includes plastic cutlery and foodservice items, the community league has decided transition to reusable items. Reusable dishes must be cleaned and sterilized properly following AHS guidelines. In order to reduce the strain on current volunteers, the community league is looking to add a commercial dishwasher to their facility. The total estimated cost of the overall project is $30,500. They are seeking support from Parkland County for $15,250 with the remainder funded by the leagues savings.
