That Council receive the Area Structure Plan Project recommendations for information, as presented.

Administration supports the proposed motion as presented.
Purpose
To provide Council with the outcomes and recommendations of the Area Structure Plan (ASP) Prioritization Project and to provide the opportunity to gather feedback.
Summary
The ASP Prioritization Project aligns with the County's strategic approach for supporting economic growth and adaptability. This project is intended to provide direction on the desired future state of the County's Area Structure Plans and to create predictability for Council and Administration when executing updates over the next seven (7) years.
Project deliverables included:
1. Information gathering through a Jurisdictional Scan and Gap Analysis;
2. Creation of an Evaluation Framework;
3. Internal engagement with other departments; and
4. Implementing the Evaluation Framework and recommending which ASPs and/or planning documents to:
a. Update;
b. Rescind; or
c. Newly Create.
If supported by Council, Administration will proceed with the first set of updating, rescinding, or new document creation. Routine Council updates and public engagement will be scheduled as each plan proceeds.
