Purpose
To approve funding for the installation of A/V equipment in the County Centre addition meeting room.
Summary
Administration wants to provide audio/visual resources in the new County Centre addition meeting room that are equivalent to other meeting rooms. The County Centre addition meeting room is approximately the same size as the Parkland Room; therefore administration anticipates installing two projectors, two screens, an audio amplifier and four speakers, and a computer to operate the system. This meeting room has been wired to accept the installation of A/V equipment; however no funding exists in the 2013 Budget to purchase this equipment. The A/V equipment is eligible for funding under the MSI Operating program and administration requests Council approval to use this funding to purchase this equipment in 2013.
