Purpose
Administration is in the process of reviewing policies approved by Council as well as directives and procedures that guide Administration in implementing those policies through programs and services. This presentation provides a policy that aligns with Council's objective to ensure that Administration is authorized and accountable for the management of the Chief Financial Office at Parkland County.
Summary
Administration received feedback on the Budget Contingency Policy C-FI003 when it was presented to the Committee of the Whole on July 7, 2020. This feedback has been incorporated and Administration presents to the Committee of the Whole a proposed Council policy to exhibit Council's direction through it's Strategic Plan, Values, and Mission for Parkland County.

The review and update of these documents is an example of Responsible Leadership, and will result in improved clarity and direction for staff.
