Proposed Motion

That the 2026 Not for Profit Organization Grant Funding Allocation in the amount of $102,093.00 be approved for inclusion in the 2026 Budget, as presented.

Purpose

As outlined in Policy C-RP14 Not for Profit Organization Funding, Council provides final approval on all funding allocations.

 

Summary

Not for Profit organizations play a key role in providing programs and services to Parkland County residents. The Not For Profit Grant is open to all eligible organizations to receive funding towards their operating, project and capital expenses. A total of 19 applications were received with a total request of $225,355.08. Administration recommends that $102,093.00 be allocated to 16 recipient organizations as per the attached spreadsheet.  Administration thoroughly reviewed the applications and scored each application according to the criteria outlined in Policy C-RP14. Applications and recommendations where reviewed with the Community Sustainability Committee who provided the final recommendation.
