Administration supports the recommendation.
Purpose
Council Remuneration Policy C-AD22 has been updated to include the approved recommendations from the Council Remuneration Committee.  On review of the policy, administration has added Standard No. 6 which affirms the County's ongoing practice for regular remuneration review.  
 
Summary
Council Remuneration Policy C-AD22 has been revised into new policy format and includes changes (highlighted in grey) that incorporate the recommendations from the Council Remuneration Committee (approved by Council on February 26, 2013), effective October 29, 2013, for the newly elected Council.  Some wording changes have also been made for clarification (highlighted in yellow), and new standard No. 6 has been added to the policy (also highlighted in yellow) which establishes the County's ongoing practice for regular remuneration review.  The revised policy will be included in the information provided to potential candidates for Mayor and Councillors.

Policy C-AD22 complements Council's Governance Goal No. 1 for Parkland County to be recognized as a well-led municipality with sound policies, responsive processes, and effective decision-making.
