Title
Funding Request - Acheson Zone 5 Infrastructure Construction (Sanitary Lift Station)

Proposed Motion
That Council approve $4,000,000 to complete construction of wastewater infrastructure within Acheson Zone 5 funded from Debenture Borrowing, as presented.

Body
Administration Recommendation
Administration supports the proposed motion.

Purpose
Approval by Council will provide Administration with direction to fund infrastructure construction in Acheson Zone 5. Infrastructure will include the sanitary lift station and connected sanitary system components.

Summary
This motion is required to add the sanitary lift station project and approved debt funding to the 2026 Capital Budget. It will provide Administration with the ability to advance construction activities in support of infrastructure investments in Acheson Zone 5. This is aligned with the ongoing industrial servicing within the Westlink development area and enabling development south of Highway 16A, west of Highway 60.

The funding allocation will primarily support the construction of a sanitary lift station and is an extension of the improvements completed by Parkland County in 2025 at the intersections of Highway 16A at Spruce Valley Road and at Pinchbeck/Bevington Road.
