Purpose
To approve Beautification projects as per Council Policy C-RP20.
 
Summary
The Beautification Grant Program was adopted by Council in 2011 and is intended for Hamlets in Parkland County to be able to beautify their communities to improve tourism, business attraction and retention, promote greater community pride and improve quality of life.
In 2013 one project was submitted for funding:
The "Come Alive Entwistle" project was submitted by the Entwistle Community League. This group intends to redevelop and beautify the Hamlet of Entwistle through the addition of benches, community signage and banners, garbage cans and public artwork. This project also includes a collaborative graffiti art component to take place at the community skateboard park.
