Purpose
To seek Council feedback on proposed changes to the Agricultural Services Board (ASB) Terms of Reference and Work Plan.
Summary
Council created the Agricultural Services Board Terms of Reference and Work Plan last year which supports Council's strategic goals. There has been a certain level of uncertainty on the part of both the ASB members and Council with regards to the work plan. A review of the Terms of Reference and Work Plan is required for clarity.
Administration is bringing some initial, proposed revisions to Council seeking feedback, as well as any other direction Council may wish to provide. Administration will take this feedback and direction to the ASB for their discussion and input as they review the Terms of Reference and Work Plan. A finalized Draft of both documents will then be presented to Council for formal consideration and decision; along with the Terms of Reference and Work Plans from the Community Sustainability Committee and Economic Diversification Committee as well.

Supports implementation of the Strategic Plan, provides community input into Council decision making process, provides business/industry expertise,and ensures appropriate governance.
