Title
Proposed Amendment to the Woodbend-Graminia Area Structure Plan (Bylaw No. 36-2012)
Proposed Motions
That Bylaw No. 36-2012 receive third and final reading with amendments as presented.
Body
Administration Recommendation
Administration supports third reading of proposed Bylaw No. 36-2012 with Administration's recommended changes.  Administration has completed discussions with the City of Edmonton  regarding the proposed amendment.  Additional correspondence from the City of Edmonton regarding Bylaw No. 36-2012 and Administration's proposed recommended changes to Bylaw No. 36-2012 are attached.

Purpose
This Bylaw amends the Woodbend-Graminia Area Structure Plan Land Use Concept Map. Administration's changes propose to redesignate the NW24, the west 1/2  of Section 25, the west 1/2 of  Section 36, and the north ½ of Section 35, all in Twp 51, Rge 26, W4 from "Agricultural" to "Mixed Use / Country Residential" to make the ASP document consistent with the Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB).

Summary
A Developer intends to apply for a traditional multi-parcel country residential subdivision within the E ½ of 25-51-26-W4. Although the lands are designated as Country Residential in both Parkland County's MDP and LUB,  the lands were still designated as Agricultural in the Woodbend-Graminia Area Structure Plan (ASP).  Additional information can be found in Administration's Report.

Strategic Plan/Policy/Legal/Staff Implications
This amendment will bring the Woodbend-Graminia ASP in line with Parkland County's current MDP and LUB.
