2018 Not for Profit Organization Grant Funding Allocation

 

Proposed Motion

That the 2018 Not for Profit Organization Grant Funding Allocation be approved for inclusion the 2018 Budget process, as presented.

Purpose

As outlined in Policy C-RP14 Not for Profit Organization Funding, Council provides final approval on all funding allocations.

 

Summary

In 2016, Council approved changes to Policy C-RP14 Not for Profit Organization Funding.  This year a total of 29 applications were received with a total request of just over $215,000.00.  Administration thoroughly reviewed the applications and scored each application according to the criteria outlined in the policy. The high demand for available funds required that administration pro-rate the requests according to the scores to determine reccomended funding levels. Administration is recommending that $66310.93 be allocated as per the attached spreadsheet.  Also attached is a summary sheet for each of the 29 applications, providing rationale for the recommendations.
