Summary
Human Resources has reviewed a number of personnel policies to ensure they are appropriate and up-to-date. Administrative Directives have been developed to replace the policies to be rescinded. As the current policies are Council policies, Council approval is required to rescind them.
These Human Resources Directives are operational because they pertain to the management of staff which is the responsibility of the Chief Administrative Officer.
Council considered and tabled the rescinding of these policies on December 16, 2014, and March 3, 2015.
