Purpose
The Forest and Prairie Protection Act requires that Council, before April 01 of each year, appoint a sufficient number of fire guardians to enforce the Act within the boundaries of the County.

The Forest and Prairie Protection Act requires that Council, before April 01 of each year, appoint a sufficient number of fire guardians to enforce the Act within the boundaries of the County. The Forest and Prairie Protection Act is enforced through County Bylaw 22-2012. The $250 cost of the program reflects the honorarium provided to our volunteer fire guardians.
