Purpose
To establish the position of Assessment Complaints Manager and delegate the powers, duties and functions to that position.
 
Summary
Assessment Review Board Bylaw 2014-16 requires a representative from the Capital Region Assessment Services Commission be appointed as a designated officer to administer Parkland County's Assessment Review Boards.  Proposed Assessment Complaints Manager Bylaw 2014-17 creates the designated officer position of Assessment Complaints Manager and has Council delegate all the powers, duties and functions required for the position.  Section 2.2 of Bylaw 2104-17 appoints the Manager of the Capital Region Assessment Services Commission to the position of Assessment Complaints Manager.
