Summary
Human Resources has reviewed personnel policies to ensure they are appropriate and up-to-date. Human Resources has updated the Employee Benefits Policy to consolidate all employee benefits under one policy. Benefit provisions have been removed from the policy as they are contained within the Group Benefit Contracts held with the policy holders. Employee Benefits are provided as an integral part of a total compensation plan designed to attract and retain qualified and skilled staff necessary to achieve strategic goals as well as provide a strong foundation of good health and wellbeing for employees and their families. Employee Health and Wellness Policy HR 025 is no longer required as it has been included in the updated Employee Benefits Policy.
