Purpose
This is being brought to Council as Council is responsible for all appointments to EDTAC.
Summary
As most of you are aware, Mr. Ralph Leriger has left the employment of TransAlta to take on the new challenges presented to him in the political field. TransAlta has an appointed position on EDTAC and when asked to recommend a replacement for Mr. Leriger, has nominated Ms. Cheryl McNeil. Ms. McNeil has attended the last 2 EDTAC meetings and appears to be a great fit with the committee. This appointment will be effective immediately and to end December 31, 2014.
