Summary

Regional Transit Service Agreement 2016 - Master

This agreement is between the City of Edmonton, City of Spruce Grove, and Parkland County.  The agreement outlines the commitments and responsibilities of each municipality.  The City of Edmonton will deliver transit service to Spruce Grove and Parkland.  As per the agreement, Acheson Industrial Area transit service would begin on April 25, 2016.

Regional Transit Service Cost and Revenue Sharing Agreement 2016

This agreement is between the City of Spruce Grove and Parkland County.  The agreement provides that the service delivered under the Master agreement with Edmonton will be cost shared between Spruce Grove and Parkland.  The agreement also describes the responsibilities of both parties in regard to transit service delivery.

Although the final costs will be determined once the final scheduling of the service is complete, a commitment to the agreement is required now.  Edmonton will not proceed with the scheduling work until authorization is granted by Parkland County Council.  Administration will only execute a final agreement that meets the existing budget amounts.
