Recommendation
That Council give second and third reading to Bylaw No. 04-2012 Amendment to Land Use Bylaw (No. 20-2009) to redistrict part of the SW-9-53-26-W4M from BI - Business Industrial to PS - Public Service;

Purpose
The redistricting is needed in order to proceed with construction of a new fire hall in Acheson.
 
Summary
Construction of a fire hall in Acheson is included in Council's Operating Budget for 2012 at the subject location. As requested by Community Services, Planning and Development Services is proceeding with the required MR (Municipal Reserve) disposition and redistricting the lands in order to proceed with construction of the new fire hall.   
 
Administrative Position
Administration supports redistricting a portion of the subject lands from BI - Business Industrial to PS - Public Service in order to construct a new fire hall in Acheson.
