Proposed Motions

1.  That Council Member Darrell Hollands' appointment to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action Sub-Committee end May 26, 2020, as requested.

2.  That Council appoint a member of Council to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action Sub-Committee effective May 26, 2020, as presented.

Purpose

At the May 12, 2020 Council  meeting, Councillor Hollands presented a Notice of Motion requesting that his appointment to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action Sub-Committee end May 26, 2020.  The composition of the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action Sub-Committee includes three appointed members of Council.  To comply with the approved Terms of Reference, a member of Council would be required to be appointed by Council  to the Sub-Committee.

 

Summary

Council approved the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action Sub-Committee Terms of Reference at a regular meeting of Council on February 12, 2019.  At this meeting, three members of Council were appointed:  Council Members Jensen, Kobasiuk, and Hollands.
