Purpose
To provide Council with an update on the Community Services operations.
Summary
Community Services continues to advance a range of initiatives, activities, projects, and programs that support and strengthen local communities. Major updates over the past several months include progress on key capital projects such as the Wabamun Library Relocation and Hasse Lake Redevelopment, expanded community engagement through County Chats, and the introduction of new service delivery approaches including the Community Navigator role. The department has also enhanced outreach and partnership efforts, maintained seasonal program and facility operations, and continued planning work to improve parks, trails, and overall community wellbeing.
