Administration supports the proposed motion. This is the final check in point planned with Governance and Priorities Committee for this plan.
Purpose
Administration is providing the final draft of the Storm Water Master Plan to the Governance Priorities Committee for information.
Summary
In March of 2022 ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. was retained to complete a Storm Water Master Plan for Parkland County. The project is essentially complete, and the final draft is submitted for review.
The project scope included 3 tasks:
Task 1 “Basin Identification”,
Task 2 “Regulatory Review”, and
Task 3 “System Management”.
Administration's report highlights key report findings and outlines preliminary recommendations. Strategic Direction and Strategic Actions are outlined in Section 8.0 of the report. This is followed by Section 9.0 - Prioritization and Implementation Strategy as recommended by Administration. Following this presentation any comments received from the Committee will be considered and the final version of the report will be produced.

RFD 22-239 - October 4, 2022 - Storm Water Master Plan Update presented to Governance and Priorities Committee at 50% complete.
RFD 23-048 - March 7, 2023 - Storm Water Master Plan Update presented to Governance and Priorities Committee at 75% complete.
