Purpose

To review the Land Use Bylaw with the intent to allow for potential agricultural based business on smaller parcels of land.

 

Summary

At the February 9, 2021 Council meeting, Council Member John McNab presented a Notice of Motion stating, "Take notice that at a regular meeting of Council on February 23, 2021, Council Member John McNab will move that administration be directed to present to Council Land Use Bylaw amendments to allow smaller agricultural parcels that support agricultural business opportunities."  Administration will be tasked to review sections of the Land Use Bylaw to explore potential amendments that will allow for business opportunities on agricultural parcels that are smaller than what the current bylaw supports; and to present potential amendments to Council for direction.
