That Council receive the 2026-2029 Strategic Plan as information and direct Administration to conduct a public engagement process to gather community feedback on the Plan.

Purpose
Every four years, following a municipal election, Council develops a new Strategic Plan. It is being provided to Council to guide the next steps, including public engagement.
Summary
The Strategic Plan sets the direction and priorities for Parkland County and acts as the roadmap that guides both Council and Administration. It presents a refreshed purpose and vision for the County, supported by four interconnected drivers that will shape the County’s strategic direction over the next four years. It also identifies key goals and desired outcomes that will guide administrative priorities and advance the County’s long-term progress.
History
On February 4, 5, 25 and 26, Council conducted Strategic Planning sessions off-site to define the strategic direction for Parkland County over Council's term.
