Proposed Motion
That Council approve the addition of $80,000 to the 2025 Agriculture and Environment Services budget for the Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance Inter Municipal Watershed Planning Project to be funded from the Alberta Community Partnership grant, as presented.

Purpose
To provide Council with an overview of the ACP grant project components and include the grant funds in the 2025 budget.
Summary
Parkland County was recently successful in receiving $200,000 in grant funding through the Alberta Community Partnership Program, on behalf of the Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance. This opportunity supports regional collaboration and capacity building for implementation of the Sturgeon River Watershed Management Plan initiatives. Two major components of the grant project include:
1. A watershed scale water quality evaluation ($80,000)
2. Infrastructure Management Framework for Watershed Health ($120,000)
Historical Information:
The grant opportunity was previously brought to Council on September 10, 2024. Previously approved motions included:
1. That administration be directed to apply for the Alberta Community Partnership (ACP) Grant Application on behalf of the Sturgeon River Watershed Alliance (SRWA) to enable further implementation of the Sturgeon River Management Plan, as presented.
2. That administration be directed to provide SRWA a letter of support for the ACP grant application, as presented.
