That Council approve the appointment of KPMG as auditors for Parkland County for a three-year term ending December 31, 2019 at a contract rate of $126,135, with two single year options for extension.

Requests for proposals was issued as the term of the incumbent auditor expired effective December 31, 2016.
Summary
The term of the incumbent auditor expired effective December 31, 2016. Request for proposals was issued on June 29, 2017 in which four firms submitted a proposal. Administration has reviewed the proposals in accordance with the criteria in the request for proposals. KPMG rated very high for deliverables proposed for completing the audit as outlined, corporate profile, and for qualifications and experience of the professional staff to be assigned to the audit.
